Azubuike Michael Egwu popularly known and referred to as Zubby Michael is a famous and a multiple award-winning Nollywood actor, entrepreneur, movie producer, model, politician and a television personality. He's currently one of the most entertaining, exceptionally talented and sought-after actor in Nollywood.

Zubby Michael started acting at a very tender age. He later joined the Nollywood industry in 2006 after his university education. His first professional acting was in a 2006 television soap opera titled "Coded Hussle" and "The Generals". He rose to fame after he played the lead role in a movie titled "Three Widows".

Zubby Michael is well known for playing criminal, villain, armed robber android hit man roles in movies. Mostly he featured alongside Sylvester Madu, Emma Ehumadu, Jnr Pope Odonwodo, Hank Anuku, Angela Okorie and Jerry Amilo.

Zubby Michael hails from Ozubulu in Okwusigo local government area of Anambra State. He was born on the 1st of February, 1985 into the prominent family of Mr and Mrs Egwu. His father is a businessman while his mother is a teacher.

Zubby is the second out of six children in the family. He has five siblings (two brothers and three sisters). His siblings are identified as: Mary Slimsugar (sister), Stanley Egwu (brother), Chris Egwu (brother), Cynthia Egwu (sister) and Sheiley Egwu (sister).
